About Us
Inspiration Learning Center was founded in 2003 in Toronto. It offers a professional tutoring service that gives students the Inspiration Advantage: a student-centred teaching approach and highly dedicated and experienced teachers. Our educational philosophy is founded on the belief that every student can achieve academic success and develop a love of learning with the appropriate support. Our founder and leader, Angel Kuang, is a qualified educator with extensive teaching and management experience in Canada and China. She has created a unique and effective tutoring approach that combines both Eastern and Western teaching methods. The Eastern style of teaching emphasizes the development of a strong foundation of basic skills through memorization, repetition, and practice, while Western teaching methods develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and advanced literacy and numeracy skills. Our approach provides students with the most important elements of both teaching philosophies.
Our dedicated team of teachers form relationships with students in order to support both their personal and academic achievements. We have a team-based approach to help our students find success. Our team conferences frequently to develop new ideas for inspiring our students. Over the past ten years, our educated, professional, and highly experienced teachers have dramatically improved the grades of hundreds of students. Our teachers have demonstrated success in many ways, including preparing students for tests and exams, improving students’ math skills, inspiring a passion for reading and literature and building stronger math foundation for students. Our students’ many successes and achievements have convinced our students and their parents to continually choose the Inspiration Advantage.
Our organization has become one of the largest and fastest-growing tutoring services in the Greater Toronto Area. We have six different tutoring centres and two Homestay houses to reach more students in diverse communities. We have locations in Scarborough, Mississauga, North York, Markham, Richmond Hill and Aurora. In 2009, we opened a branch office in Guangzhou, China to better serve students from China.
